Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver curriculum-aligned biology lessons that promote inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
• Utilize ICT tools and digital platforms (e.g., LMS, interactive whiteboards, virtual labs) to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Assess student performance through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary teams to support integrated learning and cross-curricular projects.
• Support students in preparing for international examinations (e.g., IGCSE, A-Levels, IB Biology) with targeted revision and exam practice.
• Participate in professional development activities, departmental meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
• Foster student well-being and academic growth through mentoring, individualized support, and inclusive teaching practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment data.
• Contribute to the development and review of departmental policies, curriculum materials, and assessment frameworks.
