An international consultancy company is seeking a
Biodiversity / Natural Resource Expert
for its building construction, Land and Water Transport Infrastructure project located in East Africa - Rwanda.
Qualifications
Biodiversity / Natural Resource Expert shall hold at least MSc in Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or Environmental Science.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, or environmental planning.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior advisory or leadership role, guiding biodiversity and natural resource strategies for large-scale projects.
Demonstrated expertise in conducting ecological assessments, habitat mapping, and biodiversity monitoring programs.
Proven track record in developing conservation strategies, integrating biodiversity safeguards into infrastructure projects, and advising on sustainable resource use.
Experience
in community engagement, participatory natural resource Management, and capacity building for local institutions.
Proficiency in English Language is a must.
