BIM Manager - Infrastructure (Utilities & Roads)

Role overview

Digital delivery and standards

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, EIR responses, and MIDP/TIDP in line with ISO 19650 and project requirements.
• Set up and manage the ACC CDE, including folder structures, permissions, naming conventions, and approval workflows.
• Define and monitor model quality standards, including LOD/LOIN, model checking, and audit routines.
• Ensure compliance with client and authority requirements, including Dubai Municipality and RTA requirements for BIM deliverables and information exchange.

Leadership and delivery

• Provide technical support, day-to-day guidance, and mentoring to the infrastructure modelling team.
• Develop and deliver training on BIM standards, tools, and workflows; roll out standards, templates, and best practices across projects.
• Act as the main BIM contact for clients, authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Lead coordination meetings and model reviews across disciplines; perform clash detection and develop Dynamo automation scripts.
• Regularly review and improve BIM workflows and stay current with industry innovations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience delivering infrastructure projects using BIM in accordance with ISO 19650.
• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3D and Navisworks; strong expertise in ACC and its processes.
• Proficiency in Dynamo for Civil 3D, including developing scripts for automation and process improvement.
• Ability to lead coordination meetings, manage interdisciplinary teams, and facilitate model reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant Autodesk certifications and a background in large-scale utilities and road design projects are additional qualifications.
