We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Site-Based BIM Engineer
to join our growing project supervision team in Dubai.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing BIM processes on-site, coordinating multidisciplinary models, and ensuring alignment between design, construction, and project delivery requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in
Revit, Navisworks, BIM coordination, clash detection, and site supervision
, preferably within consultancy firms handling large-scale UAE projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Review contractor BIM submissions for compliance with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Employer Information Requirements (EIR).
- Conduct clash detection and coordination workshops using Navisworks.
- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards, local authority requirements, and ISO 19650 standards.
- Support site supervision teams by resolving design and coordination issues.
- Monitor construction progress against BIM models and issued drawings.
- Prepare and update as-built BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders on BIM-related matters.
- Generate reports, RFIs, and coordination documentation.
- Assist in 4D sequencing and digital construction workflows where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5
- years
- of BIM experience, with at least 3
- years in UAE consultancy projects
- .
- Strong site-based experience on high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in:
- Autodesk Revit
- Navisworks
- AutoCAD
• Civil 3D (preferred)
- Knowledge of UAE authority standards and BIM protocols.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple disciplines and stakeholders on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
- BIM Professional Certification.
- Experience with Dynamo or scripting tools.
- Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM workflows.
- Immediate availability in UAE preferred.
