BIM Coordinator, Infrastructure (Civil)

Role purpose

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil and infrastructure models across disciplines and project parties.
• Lead clash detection and coordination meetings, and track issues through closeout.
• Review corridor, surface, alignment, and utility models for quality and BIM Execution Plan compliance.
• Verify models and drawings against survey data, design inputs, and authority requirements.
• Prepare coordinated drawings, quantities, and model outputs from Civil 3D and Revit.
• Manage model sharing and file naming in the Common Data Environment in line with ISO 19650.
• Support BIM Execution Plan input, model audits, and reporting; guide and review infrastructure modelers.
• Support modeling of roads, surfaces, grading, drainage, and utilities.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of BIM experience, including at least 3 years on infrastructure or civil projects.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Software and skills

• Software: Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks Manage, InfraWorks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Knowledge of 12d or OpenRoads is an advantage.
• Requires hands-on modeling, working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans, and experience with model review, clash detection, and LOD requirements.
• Good communication and reporting skills in English, and ability to work with clients, consultants, and contractors.
