Billing Analyst

Role Overview

Account Management and Administration

• Align with Sales Operations on signed contracts and amendments to ensure accurate billing.
• Own billing-detail data entry and initial outreach on billing matters.
• Create Chargebee accounts for new contracts and update customer data.
• Create and maintain licenses and invoicing data in Chargebee.
• Issue credit memos, void invoices, and update invoice structures.
• Respond to customer inquiries about payment methods, user management, and invoice reconciliation.
• Perform quarterly audits across Suki, Salesforce, and Chargebee user information.
• Update license pricing when signed addenda change pricing.
• Assist Accounting with month-end collections for SMB and group accounts.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Support to keep onboarding moving without gaps.
• Own Salesforce and Chargebee contract, license, and pricing data so Customer Success and Finance can rely on system records.

Tools and Systems

• Salesforce is used for customer, contract, license, and pricing data.
• Chargebee is used for accounts, licenses, invoices, credits, and pricing.
• Gainsight is listed among the role's tools and systems.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of sales operations, customer success, or revenue operations experience at a B2B SaaS company is required.
• Hands-on Salesforce administration experience and comfort building and editing revenue schedules are required.
• Experience with a subscription billing platform such as Chargebee or Zuora is required.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented work and cross-functional coordination are required.
