Role overview

Guest and luggage service

• Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage between vehicles, reception, and guest rooms.
• Handle and deliver guest belongings safely; escort guests and explain hotel facilities and services when required.
• Assist with directions, inquiries, requests, guest errands, and lobby operations.
• Deliver messages, parcels, packages, mail, and newspapers to guests and hotel departments.
• Support room changes by transferring guest belongings and coordinate luggage service with Front Office and Concierge.

Operations and standards

• Maintain secure storage of guest belongings and keep luggage trolleys and designated storage areas clean and organized.
• Report guest concerns, incidents, or unusual occurrences promptly.
• Follow hotel policies, grooming standards, health and safety procedures, and security regulations.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude in daily hotel operations.

Experience and qualifications

• Previous Bellman, Bell Attendant, or similar guest-facing experience is preferred.
• Five-star or luxury hotel experience is an advantage.
• Good verbal English communication is required; additional languages are an asset.
• Requires physical fitness to handle luggage safely and knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Requires professional interpersonal skills, teamwork, efficiency, and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
