Behaviour Analyst role supporting adult social care services across Derbyshire and Nottingham.
The position oversees implementation of Strive, the organisation’s proactive, person-centred positive support model.
Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation of Strive across services.
- Supervise and support PBS Practitioners.
- Collaborate with the Regional Leadership Team to improve experiences for people supported and colleagues.
- Deliver Active Support and PBS training and monitor outcomes and impact.
- Provide best-practice approaches supporting person-centred goals.
- Work with services to reduce restrictive practices.
Qualifications and experience
- Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support.
- BCBA or UKBA certification.
- UK-SBA registration, or willingness to register.
- At least one year of social care experience.
- Skill in developing Positive Behaviour Support plans and interventions to increase skills and reduce behaviours of concern.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary teams and balancing differing stakeholder views.
- Ability to collaborate as a team and communicate excellently.
