We are seeking a reliable and experienced
Beach Combing Machine Operator (License # 8)
- to support beach cleaning and maintenance operations.
- The Beach Combing Machine Operator is responsible for operating specialized beach-cleaning and sand-screening equipment to remove litter, debris, seaweed, and other unwanted materials from beaches and waterfront areas.
- The role ensures beaches remain clean, safe, environmentally compliant, and attractive for public use and tourism.
- The responisibilities will include but not limited to:
- Operate beach combing, sand cleaning, and beach grooming machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment before and after operation.
- Remove litter, seaweed, driftwood, glass, plastic, and other debris from beach areas.
- Screen and groom sand surfaces to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
- Monitor machine performance and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs as required.
- Follow designated cleaning routes and schedules.
- Ensure safe operation around beach users.
- Maintain operational records, inspection checklists, and maintenance logs.
- Assist with beach maintenance activities during special events or emergency situations.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
