Job Scope
The Barista/Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests while ensuring exceptional service standards and maintaining the highest level of product quality.
The role focuses on delivering a memorable guest experience, maintaining cleanliness of the bar area, and supporting the overall food and beverage operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, specialty drinks, cocktails, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests at all times.
- Ensure beverages are prepared consistently and presented according to quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and beverage preparation areas.
- Monitor beverage stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor or manager.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all beverage products and ingredients.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations while preparing beverages.
- Promote beverage offerings and make recommendations to guests when appropriate.
- Handle guest orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all equipment such as coffee machines and bar tools are properly maintained and cleaned.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the bar area.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow grooming standards.
- Support other food and beverage team members when required.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and beverage service standards.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
