Bartender

Position

Bar service and operations

• Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Open and serve wine and champagne bottles.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and tools.
• Prepare fresh drink garnishes and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to the bar setup area, wash soiled glassware, and clear used wares from bar tops and tables.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.

Payments and closing

• Process all payment methods.
• Count the bank at shift end, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, submit receipts, and secure the bank.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete closing duties.

Guest service and workplace standards

• Follow safety and security policies, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and provide attentive guest service.
• Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and meet quality standards.
• The role requires extended periods standing, sitting, or walking; handling items weighing up to 50 pounds; and moving through varied surfaces and spaces.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified.
• No license or certification is specified.
