Coffee Preparation
- Prepare all hot and cold coffee-based beverages as per standard recipes (espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white, macchiato, cold brew, etc.).
- Ensure consistency in taste, strength, temperature, and presentation of all beverages.
- Adjust grind and extraction settings as needed for quality control.
Latte Art & Beverage Presentation
- Perform basic to advanced latte art techniques on milk-based drinks.
- Ensure each cup is visually appealing and meets brand aesthetic standards.
Innovation & Seasonal Creations
- Participate in developing new drink recipes and flavour profiles (mocktails, signature coffees, etc.).
- Suggest seasonal or trending beverage ideas for promotions and events.
- Engage with guests for feedback and implement improvements to enhance the beverage experience.
Equipment Handling & Calibration
- Calibrate espresso machines and grinders daily to ensure proper extraction.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and clean coffee equipment after each shift.
- Report any machine issues or irregularities to the Supervisor or Technician promptly.
Hygiene, Cleanliness & Safety
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.
- Keep the workstation, bar counter, and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Adhere to all food safety, HACCP, and municipality health regulations.
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide product recommendations.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, or special requests professionally.
- Ensure each guest receives their order with accuracy and a smile.
Inventory & Stocking
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, takeaway cups, and cleaning supplies.
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and proper storage of beverages and consumables.
- Label and rotate ingredients following FIFO method.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth café operations.
- Assist in training new baristas or junior team members as needed.
- Participate in daily briefings and team meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or premium café.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, milk steaming, and espresso extraction.
- Skilled in latte art and customer engagement.
- Familiar with manual brewing methods (optional): V60, CEMEX, AeroPress, etc.
- Energetic, innovative, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication skills and English proficiency.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene standards and safety procedures.
Customer Service & Hospitality
Greeting and welcoming guests.
Taking orders and serving food and beverages.
Responding to customer inquiries and requests.
Ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
Providing a positive and comfortable dining experience.
Operational Management
Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Overseeing daily operations and ensuring procedures are followed.
Monitoring and handling cash and credit card transactions.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the FOH area.
Ensuring all areas meet safety and hygiene standards.
Staff & Communication
Training and mentoring new FOH staff members.
Communicating effectively with both front and back-of-house teams.
Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Common Foh Roles
Host/Hostess: Greets guests, manages reservations, and seats diners.
Server/Waiter/Waitress: Takes orders, serves food and drinks, and provides table service.
Bartender: Prepares and serves drinks.
FOH Manager/Floor Manager: Oversees staff, operations, customer experience, and helps with hiring and training.
Restaurant Service Staff: A more general role that can involve various tasks like cashiering, running food, and assisting guests.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
