About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with Qatar Municipality and food safety regulations
Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Customer Service
- Greet customers professionally and take orders accurately
- Recommend menu items and upsell products
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
Hygiene & Food Safety
- Follow Qatar Municipality food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and dining area
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients
Operations
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages
- Handle cash/card payments
- Assist in opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years experience as a Barista (Preferably in GCC)
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation
- Good communication skills in English
- Customer service mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
