Overview
Black Rose Coffee Shop is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team in Doha.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about coffee, committed to delivering excellent customer service, and able to maintain high standards in a busy café environment.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas and specialty beverages, according to company standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
- Take accurate customer orders and process payments using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar, seating areas and equipment.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages.
- Follow Qatar food safety, hygiene and health regulations at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a café or hospitality environment preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and milk texturing is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Qatar.
