The employer seeks a skilled, energetic, customer-focused Barista with a passion for specialty coffee and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The role is for immediate joiners currently residing in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, specialty brews, and signature items, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Create basic to advanced latte art.
- Greet guests, take accurate orders through the POS system, and handle cash and card transactions.
- Maintain clean, sanitised, and organised coffee stations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards.
- Calibrate grinders and espresso machines daily; clean and maintain coffee equipment routinely.
- Monitor stock of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and packaging and report shortages to management.
- Recommend beverages and menu items and accommodate dietary preferences or special requests.
Requirements and qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of UAE Barista experience; specialty coffee shop or premium café experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing, espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Strong multitasking ability and a proactive, team-player attitude.
- Must be available to join immediately.
Compensation and benefits
- Advertised pay is AED 3,000 per month; the listing also describes salary as competitive and based on experience.
