Overview
Bin Yousef's subsidiary, Tabi Boba is looking for an engaging & courteous Barista / Cashier who is passionate about bubble tea preparation and education.
The ideal candidate will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders and accept payments, and prepare and serve our signature bubble tea and other beverages according to customer preferences.
To succeed in this role, you should be committed to providing customers with excellent service.
You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite.
Responsibilities
- Your job scope, as Barista / Cashier, shall include, but is not limited to:
- Retailing and serving of food and beverages to customers;
- Operating of the cash register and the collection of payment in relation to the retailing of food and beverages to customers;
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and effective operation of the shop
- Maintaining a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentation;
- Maintaining and revising (where necessary) of store procedures in relation to the use of the entertainment facilities by the customers;
- Undertaking of administrative duties (such as managing budget, updating financial records, monitoring inventory and ordering new items);
- Any other duties as conveyed to you from time to time by the managers and/or shareholders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
- Previous work experience as a Barista / Cashier
- Experience with a POS system / cash in cash out
- Good command in English language
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
