- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to established standards; operate espresso machines and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion standards; provide professional customer service.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately; keep the coffee station and surrounding areas clean and hygienic.
- Monitor stock and notify the supervisor of replenishment needs; follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards.
- Work with the café team to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience in a café, bakery, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of espresso-based beverages and coffee preparation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills; positive attitude and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, personal hygiene, and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
