The barista role covers beverage preparation, customer service, equipment care, cleanliness, stock support, and upselling.
Beverage preparation and service
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and take orders accurately, including specific dairy and blend preferences.
- Manage transactions through POS systems.
Equipment and cleanliness
- Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, and report malfunctions.
- Keep work areas, tables, counters, and utensils clean, organized, and sanitary.
Inventory and sales
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and pastries, and assist with inventory counts.
- Promote specialty items, food products, and merchandise.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
Pay
- Pay starts at QAR 2,000 per month.
Requirements
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Take customer orders accurately, including specific preferences for dairy and blends, and manage transactions using POS systems.
- Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, and report malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
