Overview

The Banquet Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of events and banquets within a hospitality setting.

This position is responsible for overseeing the banquet staff, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, and ensuring that all events meet the highest standards of quality and service.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Train, mentor, and manage banquet staff to ensure high levels of performance and service.
  • Collaborate with event planners and clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage service meets quality standards and is delivered on time.
  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout events and address any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and manage banquet schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for events.
  • Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event details and expectations.
