The Banquet Operations Manager leads the daily execution of banquet functions at The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts.
The role focuses on organized events and memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
- Oversee function-room setup, ensuring linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware follow event specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate event specifications, procedures, and updates with Food and Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, and Housekeeping.
- Ensure rooms are properly broken down and equipment is stored correctly after events.
- Supervise team members, monitor performance, coach colleagues, and foster a positive and productive environment.
- Deliver friendly guest interactions and look for ways to make each experience special.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
