We are seeking a highly experienced
Enterprise Architect
with deep expertise in
banking and payments
to support a major transformation programme for a leading financial institution in Saudi Arabia.
This role is ideal for a senior architecture professional with a strong financial services background and proven experience conducting comprehensive enterprise architecture assessments and defining modernization roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an end-to-end
- enterprise architecture assessment
- across five architecture layers, including:
- Business Architecture
- Application Architecture
- Data Architecture
- Technology Architecture
- Security Architecture
- Assess current-state platforms and identify modernization opportunities using the
- 6R framework
- :
- Rehost
- Refactor
- Rearchitect
- Rebuild
- Replace
- Retire
- Define target-state architecture and transformation roadmaps
- Evaluate cloud adoption opportunities and ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior business and technology stakeholders
- Align architecture decisions with overall payments strategy and operating models
Required Experience
- Extensive experience as an
Enterprise Architect
- within banking, payments, or financial services
- Strong understanding of
- payments architecture
- , processors, and operating models
- Proven track record conducting enterprise architecture assessments and modernization planning
- Experience with cloud migration and transformation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies and governance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Based in
Saudi Arabia (KSA)
- or significant prior experience working in the Kingdom
- Familiarity with
- local Saudi regulations
- , including SAMA requirements
- Knowledge of
- cloud regulations, cybersecurity, and compliance
- Experience supporting large-scale banking and payments transformation programmes
