A café in Qatar is seeking an experienced, creative Bakery Chef for bakery production and product development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breads, rolls, croissants, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Handle dough preparation, fermentation, shaping, baking, and finishing.
- Develop products and improve recipes while maintaining quality, taste, texture, freshness, and presentation.
- Follow recipes, production schedules, portion controls, storage, stock rotation, and FIFO procedures.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and a clean, organized production area and equipment.
- Monitor ingredient use, reduce waste, and work with the kitchen team to meet daily production needs.
Requirements
- Proven Bakery Chef experience in F&B, bakery, café, hotel, restaurant, or hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of bakery techniques, ingredients, equipment, and production processes.
- Ability to produce consistent high-quality products and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Creativity, attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must attach a PDF portfolio with clear photos of bakery products personally prepared; applications without it will not be considered.
Pay
- Pay is listed as QAR 1.00–QAR 2.00 per month.
