Backroom Associate Job Description

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process, sort, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor after truck deliveries.
• Organize and maintain the backroom/warehouse to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
• Accurately stock, label, and store merchandise according to company procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Support store operations as needed and help maintain a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work early morning shifts, including truck delivery days.
• Comfortable spending most of the workday in the backroom/warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle merchandise throughout the shift.
• Strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remain productive without close supervision.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Previous retail, warehouse, or stockroom experience is preferred but not required.
