Role Overview

What You Will Work On

• Build integrations with customer and third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, SSO, and data connectors.
• Develop backend services, endpoints, workers, scripts, and deployment utilities.
• Adapt RAG pipelines, prompt configurations, embeddings, and model connectors to customer data.
• Build technical proofs of concept and backend prototypes.
• Work with authentication, authorization, role-based access, multi-tenancy, API security, and secrets.
• Migrate and validate customer data and design schemas, mappings, and data models.
• Debug issues across services, APIs, logs, databases, and background jobs.
• Write tests, support CI/CD checks, automate repetitive tasks, and create internal tooling.
• Produce technical documentation and collaborate with solutions, product, and customer-facing teams.

Technical Environment

• Languages include Python, SQL, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Bash.
• Backend technologies include FastAPI, Flask, Django, and Node.js or Express.
• Data technologies include PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, schemas, and migrations.
• Integration technologies include REST, GraphQL, webhooks, gRPC, API keys, and rate limits.
• Identity technologies include OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML or SSO, JWT, and secrets management.
• AI and LLM technologies include OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Async and DevOps technologies include Redis, background workers, Docker, GitHub, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Observability and support tools include logging, monitoring, tracing, Postman, Insomnia, and curl.

Required Skills

• Strong programming fundamentals in Python or another backend language, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, backend development, and API error handling.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, JWT, or OAuth.
• Hands-on experience calling an AI or LLM API or building an AI-powered backend feature.
• Comfort with Git, debugging unfamiliar code, and tracing requests through a system.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, tested, and documented code.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical documentation and customer-adjacent work.

Eligibility and Preferred Experience

• Applicants should be pursuing or have recently completed a relevant degree or diploma, while strong self-taught builders with demonstrable projects are also welcome.
• Academic projects, personal projects, GitHub repositories, hackathons, internships, and freelance work demonstrating the ability to build and ship are valued.
• Experience with backend frameworks, integrations, identity systems, RAG, data migration, Docker, cloud platforms, testing, or CI/CD is advantageous.
• Client-facing, technical support, consulting, implementation, or freelance experience is advantageous.

Internship Development Framework

• The internship includes structured onboarding, clear task allocation, a learning roadmap, mentoring, and ongoing performance evaluation.
• Interns will gain hands-on experience with backend integrations, enterprise AI, identity, data, APIs, multi-tenancy, testing, and production support.
• Strong performers may be considered for full-time conversion subject to business need and role availability.

Compensation

• Pay is up to ₹10,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person at the company's office in Marol, Andheri East.
