What you will do
- Build backend solutions that power customer interactions with recipients.
- Contribute to an end-to-end experience spanning recipient services, discovery, local integrations, and customer-facing screens.
- Collaborate with designers, the product manager, and the analyst.
What you need
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation, and schema design.
- Product mindset and focus on customer experience; use data to address customer pain points.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining clean RESTful APIs.
- Support coding best practices, code reviews, open feedback, testable code, and Test Driven Development.
Nice to have
- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Backend-for-Frontends (BFFs).
Starting salary
- Starting salary is £68,000–£87,500 plus RSUs.
