Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Python and FastAPI.
• **Architecture & Systems Design**
• Contribute to system architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• **Data & Storage**
• Design and optimise databases (SQL and NoSQL), ensuring efficiency and reliability.Develop and maintain integrations with internal services, external APIs, and microservices.Implement logging, monitoring, telemetry, and fault-tolerant systems (retries, error handling).Work closely with frontend, game, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless system integration.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience (Python).
• Strong experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one additional language (Go, Node.js/TypeScript, Java) is a plus.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Experience working in high-load or real-time systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.
