Full-time, on-site role in Dubai on a 12-month contract, with an immediate start.
Build and operate the secure, UAE-hosted environment in which client solutions run, including managed operation.
What you will do
- Design and build a cloud landing zone in UAE regions, including networking, private endpoints, identity, key management and logging.
- Automate infrastructure as code using Bicep or Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines for development, test and production.
- Apply security controls aligned with ISO 27001 and UAE information-security standards and produce audit evidence.
- Run monitoring, backup, disaster recovery and incident response during managed operation against agreed service levels.
- Hand over the platform with runbooks and train the client's IT team.
Must have
- Significant production cloud infrastructure experience, mainly on Microsoft Azure.
- Infrastructure as code using Bicep or Terraform and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, private networking, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Defender for Cloud experience.
- Experience securely hosting AI services such as Azure OpenAI and AI Search.
- Already present in the UAE and able to start immediately, with five days' notice.
Nice to have
- Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-305 or AZ-500 certification.
- Experience with UAE sovereign or certified cloud environments.
- Experience with container platforms such as AKS or Container Apps.
