Role overview

SRE and operations responsibilities

• Design and implement resilient AWS architectures using core services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudFront, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
• Automate infrastructure and DevOps workflows using Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK, Ansible, Python, or Shell.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Build observability through metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, and proactive detection using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch.
• Own incident, problem, and change management, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Track SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, availability, latency, MTTR, MTBF, and capacity metrics.
• Develop automation, self-healing, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, scalability, and capacity-management practices.
• Lead and mentor SRE/DevOps engineers, conduct technical reviews, set engineering standards, and improve SRE/DevOps maturity.

Preferred qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator certification is preferred.
• Hands-on experience managing large-scale production AWS environments is preferred.
