We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Assistant Vice President – Central Operations Relationship Management

to join our International Operations team.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Bank's Target Operating Model (TOM) across international branches and subsidiaries while driving operational excellence, governance, compliance, and strategic transformation initiatives across a global banking network.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure operational alignment, regulatory compliance, process optimization, and successful delivery of strategic projects across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and governance of the Group's Target Operating Model (TOM) across international branches and subsidiaries.
  • Conduct operational assessments, gap analyses, and regulatory reviews, providing recommendations and periodic reporting.
  • Coordinate the rollout of new products, systems, operational processes, and business initiatives across international locations.
  • Support policy and procedure reviews, process re-engineering, and quality assurance framework implementation.
  • Monitor operational reporting across international entities and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Business teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Group standards.
  • Support international branch onboarding, operational readiness, and ongoing governance activities.
  • Coordinate remediation activities related to internal and external audit observations.
  • Drive operational efficiency, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with international branches, subsidiaries, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.

& Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of banking operations experience, including:
  • Electronic Banking

• International Banking Operations

  • At least 5 years of experience managing or supporting international banking operations.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and operational governance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting branch setup, operational implementation, and ongoing operational support within an international banking environment.

& Competencies

  • Strong project management and implementation experience.
  • Excellent operational risk, governance, and compliance knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with Core Banking Systems and Electronic Banking Channels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong documentation and report-writing capabilities, including business requirements and operational procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
