AVP Business Architecture & Process Improvement

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Drive the Center of Excellence’s growth, development, and maturity.
• Understand current and future trends.
• Mentor business analysts and improve team capabilities.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years in business analysis, product management, business architecture, or a similar role.
• 5–7 years managing a team and engagement staffing.
• Experience in a software development environment and developing underlying processes.
• Previous experience in IT business analysis or IT business consulting.

Knowledge and tools

• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Lean software development methodologies; technology trends; logic diagrams; and requirements documentation methods.
• Knowledge of client/server and web technologies, business analysis methods and tools, business process improvement, and business architecture.
• Moderate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Jira, VersionOne, or a similar agile lifecycle management tool experience.
• CBAP, PMP, or similar certification preferred; MS Project, quality management, SQL, PEGA, MuleSoft, and mainframe or cloud development experience noted as preferred or nice to have.
