POSITION AV Technician
LOCATION Amman, Jordan
The Client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The AV Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced audio-visual and electronic systems within a prestigious royal household. The role ensures seamless operation of AV equipment across residential and entertainment environments, delivering high-quality sound, visual performance, and user experience at all times.
Qualifications / Licenses / Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related field (mandatory)
- 5-10 years' experience in AV systems within luxury or high-end environments
- Very good knowledge and hands-on experience with Crestron systems (mandatory)
- Excellent knowledge of audio-visual systems including AV processors, home theatres, projectors, mixers, amplifiers, microphones, and speakers
- Strong understanding of AV cabling, connectors, and installation materials
- Excellent knowledge of CCTV systems
- Ability to operate and maintain cinema room systems
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and board-level repair
- Good computer, IT, and network troubleshooting skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding capability
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- Passion for AV technology, music, and entertainment systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
DUTIES
- Diagnose and resolve AV and related technical issues across the residence
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems including home theatres and entertainment systems
- Troubleshoot signal issues across cable, satellite, and digital TV systems
- Support network connectivity including Wi-Fi troubleshooting and reporting coverage issues
- Assist users with connecting devices, systems, and peripherals
- Maintain and repair AV equipment and electronic boards where required
- Ensure all AV systems operate at optimal performance at all times
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance and IT teams
- Assist with general technical and operational tasks as required
- Report faults and follow through to resolution
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management
SALARY USD $1,000 - $1,100
Subject to tax, social security, and insurance (dependent on experience)
