Key ResponsibilitiesMobile Automation
- Develop and maintain Appium-based automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications.
- Execute UI automation scripts on real devices, emulators, and cloud platforms (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs).
- Automate testing for native, hybrid, and mobile web applications.
- Work closely with developers to understand mobile architecture, APIs, deep linking, gestures, and performance considerations.
- Perform mobile debugging using tools like ADB and Xcode logs.
Web & API Automation
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.
- Automate REST APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
General QA Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and automation strategies.
- Execute test suites, analyze failures, and report defects.
- Perform regression testing and ensure release quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong experience in mobile automation using Appium (Android & iOS).
- Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Appium Inspector
- Experience with APK / IPA builds and mobile debugging tools (ADB, Xcode logs).
- Strong understanding of:
- Mobile gestures
- Screen synchronization
- Deep linking
- Push notifications testing
- Experience with API automation tools (RestAssured / Postman).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
- Experience with Git-based version control.
- Good to Have
- Experience with XCUITest / UIAutomator2.
- Exposure to cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
