Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Auto Parts Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automotive spare parts department.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of genuine and aftermarket automotive parts, inventory management, supplier coordination, and customer service.
The successful candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, maximize sales, and maintain efficient parts operations while delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the spare parts department.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock availability.
- Monitor stock movement and implement inventory control procedures.
- Source and procure automotive spare parts from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supply agreements with vendors.
- Coordinate with the sales and service teams to fulfill parts requirements.
- Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of fast-moving and critical parts.
- Analyze sales trends and forecast future inventory requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing spare parts.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Handle warranty claims, returns, and defective parts.
- Ensure all parts are correctly labeled and entered into the inventory management system.
- Prepare monthly inventory, sales, and procurement reports.
- Train and supervise spare parts staff to improve productivity and customer service.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.
- Achieve departmental sales and profitability targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of proven experience in automotive spare parts management.
- Strong knowledge of automotive components, OEM and aftermarket spare parts.
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid Qatar Driving License is Must.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Experience in the GCC automotive industry is an advantage.
