Role overview

Education and experience

• Four-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major.
• No work experience is required.

Purchasing and inventory

• Assist the Executive Chef with food, beverage, and controllable purchasing to support quality and profitability.
• Order items to meet business needs and help manage budgeted costs.
• Maintain inventory controls, first-in, first-out rotation, product dating, requisitions, and storeroom security.
• Coordinate delivery timing with kitchen and restaurant management and vendors.
• Inspect deliveries and match invoices with shipment quantity, quality, weights, and specifications.

Accounting and coordination

• Prepare timely reports and compile, calculate, audit, or verify data.
• Use computer programs to post invoices, update items and costs, and complete daily and period-end cost and inventory tasks.
• Maintain accurate logs, beverage perpetuals, invoices, and bookkeeping records.
• Monitor applicable taxes, document financial results accurately, and communicate price and availability issues.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, vendors, executives, peers, and other teams; provide guidance on accounting and budgeting procedures.
