Job Overview

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Learn mechanical engineering duties across project stages and perform basic design engineering, analysis, and calculations.
• Complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoring; organize work to meet deadlines set by others.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, analyses, design reports, and procedures.
• Specify simple equipment under lead engineer guidance and apply relevant discipline procedures, standards, and project requirements.
• Provide information to other disciplines and carry out drafting, including datasheet sketches and drawing modifications.
• Review vendor and manufacturer drawings, documents, and inspection and test procedures.
• Assist mechanical engineers and buyers with technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Apply HSE requirements and criteria in engineering work and decisions.
• Become familiar with quality and documentation systems and communicate clearly with colleagues.

Essential Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 0–3 years of oil and gas experience.
• EIT registration or membership in a professional engineering society is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English at B2 level.
• Quality-oriented, schedule-conscious, communicative, and collaborative approach.
• Flexibility to assist colleagues and supervisors during increased workload.
• Learn applicable standards, codes, guidelines, design techniques, and analysis methods.
