A Doha

based alternative investment platform operating across private equity, real estate, infrastructure and aviation.

The business is in a sustained growth phase, deploying across multiple asset classes both regionally and internationally.

The Investment Associate will support the full investment lifecycle across the firm's alternative investments platform.

Working closely with senior investment professionals, the Associate will contribute to deal origination, financial analysis, due diligence and portfolio monitoring across a generalist, multi-sector mandate.

This is a hands-on role suited to a candidate seeking broad transaction exposure rather than a single-sector focus.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models, including valuation, returns and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare investment committee materials, information memoranda and internal presentations.
  • Conduct industry, market and company research to support origination and screening of opportunities.
  • Support commercial, financial and operational due diligence on live transactions, coordinating with advisors and internal teams.
  • Assist with deal structuring and execution, including review of transaction documentation.
  • Monitor portfolio company and asset performance, tracking KPIs and preparing periodic reporting.
  • Contribute to ad hoc strategic and analytical projects across the investment team.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or a comparable analytical environment.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Sound understanding of corporate finance and investment principles; exposure across multiple sectors or asset classes is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear recommendations.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline; progress toward CFA or equivalent is a plus.
