About Mace and the project

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy and describes its values as central to its work and culture.

The role supports one of Saudi Arabia's largest programmes: a mixed-use development with sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure.

Mace is a delivery partner requiring experienced professionals to lead integrated teams through each project phase.

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety-first values, apply stop-work authority, and promote wellbeing standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership aligned with organizational values and mentor and coach junior staff.
  • Implement and continuously improve risk frameworks, registers, dashboards, and reporting processes.
  • Facilitate risk workshops, reviews, and assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks.
  • Integrate risk controls into project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project teams.
  • Maintain high-quality risk data, support best-practice compliance, and monitor changing risk profiles proactively.
  • Help identify and manage carbon emissions and reductions during delivery in support of the net-zero transition.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in risk management, engineering, or project management.
  • 10+ years of risk leadership experience on major projects, ideally in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
  • Strong expertise in risk tools, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Relevant experience on high-value projects or programmes for a project management consultancy, required for immigration and client approval.
  • Meet the necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Preferred qualification

  • Chartered membership or recognized professional certification is preferred.

Values and working culture

  • Mace emphasizes safety, wellbeing, client focus, integrity, compliance, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • The employer welcomes candidates who may not meet every listed criterion and may consider them for this or another role.

Work arrangements

  • Part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options may be discussed if suitable for the role.
