As part of this evolution, we are supporting a leading financial authority in Dubai with the appointment of an Associate Director to lead to lead this critical area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead risk‑based supervision and oversight of regulated entities.
- Provide expert guidance on financial crime risk and support regulatory decision‑making.
- Contribute to policy development, thematic reviews, and wider supervisory initiatives.
- Drive improvements across supervisory processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- 10–15+ years in financial crime risk, AML/CFT, compliance, or regulatory supervision.
- Proven experience in leading teams or complex projects.
- Strong stakeholder‑management skills and experience engaging senior leadership or regulatory bodies.
- Background in regulatory frameworks or policy work is advantageous.
