Role Overview

Lead significant advisory and transformation workstreams across the UAE and wider Middle East.

Join an established client engagement and support the client's ongoing transformation journey.

Combine strategic thinking, delivery leadership, and stakeholder management to improve performance and organisational capability.

This is an implementation-focused advisory role, not solely a strategy-recommendation role.

Client Leadership and Advisory

  • Lead transformation, operating model, and organisational-effectiveness workstreams.
  • Advise stakeholders on organisational challenges and improvement opportunities.
  • Assess governance, operating models, capabilities, and organisational performance.
  • Design target operating models, governance frameworks, and organisational structures.
  • Develop transformation roadmaps, implementation plans, and business cases.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement; present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate delivery activities.
  • Manage workstream plans, risks, dependencies, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure outcomes meet client expectations and project objectives.
  • Support programme governance and performance monitoring.
  • Coach and develop consultants and senior consultants.

Business Development

  • Contribute to proposals, bids, client pursuits, and growth opportunities with existing clients.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and capability development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain client relationships across the market.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in consulting, advisory, transformation, or organisational change.
  • Experience leading workstreams or projects in complex transformation programmes and working with senior client stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience in operating model design, organisational effectiveness, governance, or transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills; experience leading teams and managing project delivery.
  • Direct client-stakeholder experience in complex organisational environments.
  • Comfortable working within client teams and spending time at client locations to support delivery, engagement, and decision-making.
  • Commercial awareness and experience supporting business development activities.
  • Experience with government, built environment, real estate, infrastructure, transport, utilities, water, energy, or development organisations in the Middle East.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Client Locations

  • Spend a proportion of the week working from client locations in Abu Dhabi to shape solutions, support implementation, engage stakeholders, and help ensure delivery.

Benefits and Onboarding

  • Depending on employment status, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, flexible work options, well-being resources, and other listed programmes.
  • New hires are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office as a condition of employment.
