Job Description
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and filings in accordance with legal requirements.
- Prepare and review board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate governance documents.
- Provide guidance on corporate governance matters to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
- Support the legal department with drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on their potential impact on the organisation.
- Assist in managing relationships with regulatory authorities and external consultants.
The Successful Applicant
- A recognised qualification as a Company Secretary or equivalent in the legal field.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing legal and governance documentation.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
