Role overview

Your role

• Lead and manage the commercial team across all project phases.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface with senior contractor and consultant representatives and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee contract administration and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage and resolve complex commercial, contractual, and claims-related matters.
• Provide strategic commercial advice and recommendations to project leadership.
• Review and negotiate commercial submissions, variations, and contractual correspondence.
• Drive timely commercial decisions in support of project objectives and delivery milestones.
• Protect the employer's commercial and contractual interests; monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution through negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Manage cost, change, claims, and contract administration; lead commercial activities for the employer.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• MRICS membership is mandatory.
• At least 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
• Extensive UAE experience delivering residential mid-rise, mixed-use, and community developments.
• Proven experience leading commercial teams across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrable post-contract experience within consultancy, PMC, or client organizations.
• Advanced knowledge of FIDIC Red Book contracts.
• Expertise in post-contract commercial management, cost reporting, financial management, cash flow, variations, final accounts, claims, contract administration, risk, and cost analytics.
