Role Summary

Role Profile

• Carry out field surveys and measurements using Land surveying techniques to collect site, building and facility measurement data for upload into appropriate CAD outputs .
• Analyse building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements as well as other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs .
• Operate computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records .
• Lay-out and plan interior arrangements for commercial buildings using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software .
• Maintain continuous operation of all software, hardware, peripherals and consumables associated with the production of CAD data .
• Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant technical information sources, drafting standards, equipment, techniques and software applications .
• Prepare, update and maintain all drawing versions and document referencing protocol.
• Maintain a filing and retrieval system for all drawings .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design.
• 0-2 years' experience, 1+ years in retail .
• Highly organized with strong multitasking skills.
• Good time management skills .
• Good problem solving skills .
• High attention to detail .
