- Assist in implementing and maintaining workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Support risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor compliance with local health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Assist in investigating workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct safety inductions and awareness training for employees and contractors.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in emergency response planning, fire drills, and evacuation exercises.
- Monitor housekeeping standards and safe work practices.
- Assist with safety audits and inspections by regulatory authorities or clients.
- Report safety concerns to the Safety Officer or HSE Manager and follow up on corrective actions.
