Assistant Roofer II

The Assistant Roofer II role is designed for individuals who have developed foundational roofing skills and are ready to take on more responsibility while continuing to grow toward a Journeyman role.

Perform roofing installation tasks with increasing independence

Install roofing components including insulation, coverboard, membranes, flashing, and accessories

Support layout, staging, and production activities

Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively

Identify and communicate basic installation concerns to leadership

Assist with training and supporting newer crew members

Maintain quality standards and productivity expectations

Follow all safety procedures and Stop-Work expectations

Commercial roofing experience preferred

Demonstrated understanding of roofing materials and installation methods

Ability to read basic drawings and instructions

Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments

Strong attendance and teamwork
