Assistant Roofer I

Join our team and start building a long-term career in commercial roofing. As an Assistant Roofer I, you’ll support experienced crews while learning installation techniques, safety practices, tools, and jobsite operations.

This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn.

Assist with jobsite setup, preparation, and teardown

Perform basic roofing installation tasks including insulation placement, coverboard installation, membrane handling, fastening, trims, coping cap, reglet, and counter flashing

Carry, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment on the jobsite and roof

Support experienced roofers with installation, preparation, cleanup, and material handling tasks

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment

Follow company safety procedures and participate in required training

Perform other duties as assigned

Construction or roofing experience preferred but not required

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to lift, carry, and move roofing materials and equipment

Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
