Assistant Research Scientist

Role description

Research responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
• Conduct literature reviews on financial education practices and prepare research summaries and reports.
• Contribute to designing and evaluating training modules and assessments.
• Collaborate with mentors and program leads on evidence-based recommendations to improve curriculum, mentorship models, and participant success.
• Maintain accurate documentation, assist with research presentations, and ensure research aligns with ethical and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical abilities, including data collection, literature review, and basic statistical interpretation.
• Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and common data or research software.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for reports, summaries, and presentations.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in finance, accounting, or related fields; investment banking or financial analysis familiarity is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline; research experience or internships are beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines; attention to detail and commitment to ethical research and continuous learning.
