Assistant QA Specialist

Job Purpose

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of QHSE procedures and policies to ensure adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits of landscaping projects to verify quality and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for quality improvement and assist in developing corrective actions.
• Support documentation and reporting activities related to quality assurance and safety incidents.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to increase awareness and understanding of QHSE standards among staff.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding quality and safety matters.

Qualification

• The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications in quality assurance, environmental management, or a related field. A bachelor's degree or technical diploma is preferred, supplemented by certifications relevant to quality or safety management.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of quality management systems, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards is essential. Familiarity with landscaping industry practices is an asset.
• Proficiency in using quality management tools and software will be advantageous. The candidate must be capable of understanding complex technical documents and translating them into practical procedures.
• Effective organizational and time management skills are required to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

• Candidates should demonstrate practical experience working within a quality assurance or health and safety framework, preferably within landscaping or a related industry. Previous exposure to QHSE systems and practices will support success in this role.
