Project Engineer

Job Purpose

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of landscaping project execution from inception to completion.
• Collaborate closely with design teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Monitor progress on-site, resolving any engineering or construction issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare regular reports on project status, resource utilization, and risk management for senior management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiencies and reduce project risks.

Qualification

• To succeed as a Project Engineer at Basatin Landscaping, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Additional certifications in project management (such as PMP or equivalent) are advantageous. A deep understanding of landscaping principles, construction methods, and material specifications is essential.
• Strong theoretical knowledge supported by practical application in construction projects will ensure effective project delivery. Candidates must be committed to professionalism, demonstrate high ethical standards, and show flexibility to adapt to dynamic project requirements.

Experience & Skills

• The ideal candidate brings substantial practical experience in managing landscaping or civil construction projects, preferably within the Abu Dhabi region or similar environments.
• Key competencies include proficient decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for liaising with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Motivated individuals with a passion for quality and continuous improvement will thrive in this role.
