Assistant Project Manager

Role overview

Project delivery and coordination

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with clients throughout installation and organize the installation calendar and installers' schedules.
• Manage NOC applications, access approvals and building management requirements; coordinate with building management, security and facilities teams.
• Ensure installers provide pre-condition or dilapidation reports, progress and completion photos, and incident reports.
• Arrange cover or support when employees are unavailable.

Issue resolution and closeout

• Resolve supplier issues, material delays and access issues; handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
• Keep project updates, documents and customer communications organized.
• Escalate major project risks or delays to management with clear solutions.
• Ensure projects are properly closed out after installation.

Requirements

• Excellent English and communication skills, with strong organization and project coordination skills.
• Confident dealing with customers, suppliers and building management; strong customer service mindset.
• Experience in construction, fit-out, glazing, aluminium, interiors or installation projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems and stay calm under pressure.
• Proactive, reliable and accountable, with the ability to follow up firmly with installers, suppliers and clients.
• Ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of the glazing and acoustic window industry.
• Motivation to progress professionally.

Employment and pay

• Job type is permanent.
• Advertised pay is AED 6,000–10,000 per month.
