- Demonstrates an understanding and utilization of Evidenced-BasedHealthcare.
- Advocates in the best interest of the patient and family at alltimes.
- Provides education to the family regarding aspects of care asappropriate.
- Demonstrates an ability to assist physicians/therapists withprocedures.
- Demonstratestheabilitytobeflexible,organizedandfunctionunderstressfulsituations.
- Adheres to dress code; appearance is professional, neat andclean.Maintains patient confidentiality at alltimes.
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designatedtime.
- Isresponsibletomaintainuptodateclinicalknowledgeandself-directedongoingeducation.
- Completes annual education requirements. Maintains regulatoryrequirements.
- Attends and participates in annual review and department in-services, asscheduled.

Education
- Graduate from a recognizednursing school (minimum 2yrs)
- ACLS (for adultpatients)
- PALS (for pediatricpatients)
Experience
- 1 years minimum clinical experience plus 6 months recent experience with ventilated patients (i.e. extra 6months adult ventilated patients for adult AN’s and extra 6 months pediatric ventilated patients for pediatricAN’s)
- Long term care or rehabilitation experience
- Certification and Licensure
- Current valid registration in countryof training and/or country of last employment
- Eligible for DOHlicensing
